The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory of Stamford, Connecticut, has seen many changes since May 15, 1953, when Nicholas F. Cognetta, Sr. and Naida E. Cognetta opened our doors for the first time. To ensure our facility is large and attractive enough to meet the needs of our community, we have remodeled and expanded our facility several times during our history.
Today, amidst all of the large funeral home conglomerates, we remain a family-owned and operated funeral home and crematory. When you call or visit our home, you will find a member of the Cognetta family.
