Eleni Manesiotis
Eleni (Helen) Manesiotis, 84, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born in Agios Konstantinos, Greece to the late Ilias and Panagiota Arvanitis.
Eleni represented the epitome of love, caring, endless sacrifice, and selflessness. She never thought of herself once during the numerous trials she faced in her life including the hardship she endured by staying behind in Greece with her young children while her husband had to make the heartbreaking decision to travel overseas in pursuit of a better life for their family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family but more importantly creating opportunities of gathering during holidays, casual get-togethers, or even simply for a cup of coffee and her favorite dessert, Cheesecake. She was an exemplary mother working tirelessly while juggling her work, life’s demands, and making sure everyone in her family was always taken care of. What Eleni achieved in her life depicts her ultimate faith in God and strong conviction in family values. Her life was nothing short of extraordinary and her absence will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Chris Manesiotis and his wife Lee of Orange, Penny Giantomidis and her husband Chris of Milford, Louis Manesiotis and his wife Corinna of Trumbull. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Eleni was also predeceased by her husband George C. Manesiotis.
