Ada Valenti

Ada M. Valenti, 85, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving daughter on Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was born in Goshen, CT on May 18, 1931 to the late Robert Andrew and Ada Maria Green Garrison.
Ada was an employee at Branson Co in the electronics department, Lifesaver Co of Port Chester, NY, Pitney Bowes and then went on to JC Penney for fifteen years before retiring. She was a member of the Over 60 Club of Stamford.
She is survived by her daughter Dawn April Valenti of Stamford, as well as her grandchildren Shiloh, Binx and Casanova.
Besides her parents, Ada was predeceased by her husband William F. Valenti and her brothers John, Robert and George Garrison and her sister Christine Brown.
A funeral service will be celebrated at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 2810 Long Ridge Road, Stamford on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There are no calling hours and Interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral & Crematory is honored to assist the Valenti family with the arrangements.
