Albertha Walley, 64, of Stamford passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1948 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Henry and Sadie Taylor.
Albertha is survived by her loving children, Anthony B. Walley of Stamford, Michael L. Walley and his wife Feliz of Milford, CT, Demetria N. Calloway and her husband Sheldon of Bridgeport, CT, a sister Bobbie Cooper and her husband Dave of Tampa, FL and a brother Arthur Jackson and his wife Mabel of Orangeburg, SC. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley M., and Jaali A. Walley, Bryceson L., Rashad D. and Dylan D. Calloway.
A funeral service will be celebrated at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 611 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 at 2:00 PM. There will be no calling hours and Interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford is honored to assist the Walley family with the arrangements.
