Alice Kelly

Alice N. Kelly, 92, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Stamford on April 21, 1923 to the late Cesare and Lucille Tonazzi Nosenzo.
Alice was a lifelong member of St. Maurice RC Church and sang along with her sister Betty Baker in the choir for many years.
She is survived by her loving children Elizabeth E. Kelly, Eileen A. Kelly, Kevin Kelly and his wife Patricia, David Kelly and his wife MaryEllen, as well as her grandchildren, Esme, Michael, Daniel, James, Patrick and a great granddaughter, Stella.
Besides her parents, Alice was predeceased by her husband James J. Kelly, her sister Elizabeth “Betty” Baker and a brother Julian “Duke” Nosenzo.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 9:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 AM at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alice’s memory to St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT 06906
