Americo F. Crescio

Americo F. Crescio, also known as �"Butch, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. Born in Stamford, he was the son of the late Corino and Louise Capra Crescio.
Americo was a retired US Postal Service mail carrier of thirty years. He was also a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC); a member of St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church; and the Holy Name Society. He had also worked for Olin Corporation for twenty years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances L. Crescio of Stamford; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will meet at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 9:30 AM. A funeral procession will then proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Greenwich.
