Angela Pirre

Angela M. Pirre, 93, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. Angela was born in Stamford on February 21, 1920 to the late Michael and Annie Sabatina Interlandi.
Angela is survived by her daughter Norma Stella, her two grandchildren, Gregory Stella, Timothy Stella and his wife Daniela, her three sisters, Gloria Kapteina, Henrietta Crocco and Ann Carlucci and her two brothers, Joseph Interlandi and Raymond Interlandi, all of Stamford. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Angela is predeceased by her loving husband John Pirre, five sisters, Clara Interlandi, Corine Pace, Mary Conca, Sara Arcano and Connie Pirri, and three brothers, Sally Interlandi, Michael Interlandi and Sebastian Interlandi.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 9:30AM and proceed to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
