Angela Semenza

Angela Semenza, 91, a former resident of Stamford and Florida passed peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2012 in Lake Worth, FL. She was born in Stamford on September 26, 1921 to the late Phillip and Elizabeth Giordano LaDestro.
Angie is survived by her loving niece Sharon Cyboski of Stamford, her brother Michael LaDestro of Wilton, CT, her great niece Dana Cyboski Gutwein and her husband Evan Gutwein of Miami Beach, FL and her great nephew Joseph Cyboski of Stamford. Also survivng are several nieces, nephews, sister in laws and brother in laws.
Besides her parents, Angie was predeceased by her husband John Semenza, her infant son Richard Danna,a sister Theresa Bellantonio and her brothers Salvatore, Andrew, Jerry, Al and Frank LaDestro.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 9:20 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10, 2012 from 3:00-7:00 PM.
