Angelina Pastore

Angelina “Angie” Harriet Pastore, 81, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2018. Born in Stamford, August 4, 1936, daughter of the late James P. and Irene Bartlett Pastore.
A native of Stamford, Angie was a graduate of the Stamford School System. She was employed by the Peabody Engineering Company and was an active volunteer for Challenged People in Motion, a program for those with Downs Syndrome. Angie was also an avid reader and loved to travel.
She is survived by her siblings V. Nancy Pastore of Stamford, Patsy Pastore and his wife Janet of Maine, Frederica C. Lockwood of Tennessee, Rose Marie Pastore of Stamford and Theresa Jane Riley of Milford. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son William Gross and a brother Special Fouth-Class James J. Pastore.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 9:30AM and processing to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery Darien, CT. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
