Angelina Scully

Angelina M. Scully, 72 of Stamford, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010 at Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence. Born on December 23, 1937 in Tarxien Malta, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephina Farrugia.
Angelina was a Postal Clerk for many years before retiring from the Darien Post Office. She was an avid bowler at Bowlarama and was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Stamford.
Angelina is survived by her daughter, Diana (Pisani) Schneider and her husband Ernie of Stamford; her three sons, Vincent Pisani of Ft. Lauderdale, Lawrence Pisani of Monroe and Andrew Pisani and his wife Karen of Michigan; her sister, Connie Farrugia and her husband Joe of Norwalk; her brother Joseph Farrugia and his wife Linda of Stamford; and her six grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Mirabella, Gino, Joseph and Charlie Pisani.
In addition to her parents, Angelina was predeceased by her husband, Robert Scully and her sister, Mary O’Connor.
A Funeral Procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 8 2010 from 3:00-5:00PM and from 7:00-9:00PM.
