Angelique Andrianos, 84, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Edgehill Health Care of Stamford. She was born in Greece on May 3, 1931 to the late Costas Adamis and Georgia Panayotopolous Adamis.
Angelique worked at the Manger Electric, Co. for many years before her retirement. She was an active member of the Annunciation Church including the Ladies Philoptochos Society. Angelique was known to many friends as Kiki and to her grandchildren as Yiayia. She liked to spend time in the kitchen cooking for fun and was well known for her Greek pastries.
She is survived by her loving son George Andrianos and his wife Deborah of Stamford, a brother Peter Adamis of Stamford, as well as four grandchildren John, Kelly and Thomas Andrianos and Christopher Andrianos.
Besides her parents, Angelique was predeceased by her husband Christos Andrianos, a son Charles Andrianos and a sister Eleni Koukourakis.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 9:10 AM for a Funeral Service to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Woodland Place, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Trisagion service to be celebrated at 7:00 PM.
