Angelo Deblasi
June 26, 1924 — March 3, 2015
Angelo R. DeBlasi, 90, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Stamford Hospital with his loving family by his side. Angelo was born in Stamford on June 26, 1924 to the late Ralph and Olympia Coppolo DeBlasi.
Angelo was an avid crossword puzzle player.
Angelo is survived by his daughter Angela Strazza and her husband Tony of Stamford, his sons, Nicholas DeBlasi of Stamford and Ralph DeBlasi and his wife Gina of Norwalk; four grandchildren, Anthony, Melissa, Michael and David and one great-granddaughter Aahna also survive.
Besides his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Esposito DeBlasi and his two sisters Antionette Ciliberto and Angie Cucco.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 6, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
