Angelo Migliorelli

Angelo Migliorelli, 84, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Santa Maria Infante, Italy on March 9, 1929 to the late Salvatore and Angela Pensiero Migliorelli.
Angelo was employed as a stone mason at Cardillo Construction for over ten years until his retirement in 1991 and a former employee of Paul Bacco Construction and Rondano Construction .He was a member of the Minturnese Social Club for over fifty years and was an avid gardener ,a Yankees fan and also enjoyed playing Bocci. His grandchildren and great grandchild were the joy of his life.
Angelo is survived by his loving wife Filomena Mele Migliorelli , his loving daughter Angie Roxburgh and her husband Evan of Stamford, his loving sons Emilio Migliorelli of Stamford, Sal Migliorelli and his wife Dianne of Trumbull. Also surviving are two brothers Flavio Migliorelli of Italy, Americo Migliorelli of Australia, four grandchildren Alicia, Evan Jr., Amanda, Lauren and a great granddaughter Gina.Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers Antonio, Mario and Elio Migliorelli.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, Darien.
