Ann E. Galasso Gilbert

Ann E. Galasso Gilbert, 95, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2007. Born May 6, 1912 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Raffaela Natale DelPreto.
She was a hairdresser in Beau Monde Coiffures of Greenwich, and worked a total of 66 years of her life. She enjoyed needle point, reading and gardening. She loved to travel and donating to charitable organizations.
Ann is survived by her son, Carl Galasso, Sr. and his wife Marie; a grandson, Carl J. Galasso; a great-granddaughter, Melissa Galasso; and a son-in-law, John DeCostanzo.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Galasso.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 1:00 PM at St. Johns Cemetery, Camp Avenue in Darien. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to a charity of ones choice. The Nicholas F.
