Ann Marie Greco, passed away peacefully at the blessed age of 99 on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Ann was born on November 1, 1925, in Port Chester, New York, Daughter of the late William and Maire Bracciale Bologno.
A proud 1945 graduate of Port Chester High School, Ann initially explored cosmetology but soon followed her heart to her true vocation: nurturing the next generation. She poured her love into the community as a reading paraprofessional in Port Chester elementary schools for over 40 years, where her patience and kindness left an indelible mark on countless children. Her life was anchored by unwavering faith as a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Columbiettes. A devout Catholic, she never missed Mass, attending faithfully in person for as long as she could and remaining spiritually connected through television in her later years.
Ann’s hands were rarely still, as she was constantly creating beauty for those she loved. She was an artist at heart, meticulously building ceramic Christmas trees that have now become cherished family heirlooms, and her kitchen served as the joyful heart of every holiday. Her family will forever miss the aroma of her famous Spritz cookies and Easter pies—traditions she baked with pure love. Above all, Ann’s greatest happiness was found in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with the youngest generations of her family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, faith, and devotion that will be deeply missed.
Ann is survived by her loving daughter Cheryl Moore and her husband Bruce of South Carolina, her cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Moore-Kolman and her husband Jonathan of Stamford and Bruce Moore, Jr. and his wife Lauren of Stamford, along with her adored great-grandchildren James, Jonathan, Giavanna, William and Jospeh, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband James Greco, and her sisters, Carmella Smerligio and Molly Fusco-Ruspini.
A mass of Christian Buril will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, CT at 10:00AM. A procession will follow to Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rock Rimmion Road, Stamford
