Ann Romanchuk

Ann M. Romanchuk passed away peacefully at her home in Stamford on the morning of Wednesday, May 13, 2020 with her loving family by her side. A resident of Stamford, Ann was born in Middletown, CT on September 7, 1957, and was the daughter of the late John and Carmela (Chiappetta) Merritt of Greenwich, CT. She was 62 years old at the time of her passing.
Ann Lived for over 40 years on River Road in the North Mianus section of Greenwich. She was an avid crafter and animal lover, and a devoted wife, mother & aunt who truly cherished her family & friends. Of all of the things she did in life, nothing compared to being a beloved mother to her children.
She was formerly employed as a hairdresser for the Lanes in Cos Cob, as well as JC Penny in Stamford, and later as a food service worker for the Greenwich Public School system.
Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years; Robert Romanchuk, her children; daughter, Traci Romanchuk, son; Robert Romanchuk Jr, both of Stamford, her beloved cats; Holly and Teetee, her niece; Victoria Merritt-Geruntho, and grand-niece and nephews of Ansonia.
Because of restrictions due to the current public health situation, the funeral services for Ann will be held privately. A celebration of life for Ann will be announced at a later date.
