Ann Marie Walsh, 53, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018. She was born on July 1, 1964 in Stamford, CT.
Ann graduated from J M Wright Tech in 1982. She was a devoted and fierce loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her daughters. She volunteered her time with Relay for Life and was an enthusiastic member of the community. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Bethel, CT. She had a never ending love for her fur babies.
Ann is survived by her father Martin Walsh of Bethel, her two loving daughters Shannon and Allison of Bethel, her brother Terence Walsh and his wife Lisa of Stratford, her sister Kelly B. Miller and her husband Carlos of Stamford. Also surviving her is her beloved foster family Dora White of Norwalk, Pamela White of Norwalk and Robert White of West Virginia. Her nieces and nephews also survive her, niece and goddaughter Caitlin Walsh, nephew Martin Walsh. Nieces Maya and Alyssa Miller. Niece and goddaughter Amanda Urban, niece Rebecca Urban, and nephews Stephen and Donald Urban III. She is also survived by a great niece Eden Marie Walsh, and great nephews Keith Urban and Jeffrey Slinsky. She is survived by her former husband Andrew Hitchcock. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins both here and in Ireland.
Ann is predeceased by her mother Kathleen Brady Walsh, her son Christopher Hitchcock, and her foster father Robert White, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. Bridget’s of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford, CT at 11:00AM. There will be no calling hours and burial will be privately held.
