Anna Marie Esposito

Anna Marie Esposito, 82, a lifetime resident of Stamford, passed away on October 26, 2008 at The Stamford Hospital surrounded by her children. Anna is one of eight children, and was born July 4, 1926 to the late Rita and Dominick Moscatello.
She is survived by her four children, Guy, Richard, Rita and Barry; her sister, Mary Bonis; two brothers, Raymond and Joseph Moscatello; eight grandchildren, Gina, Nicole, Rachel, Michael, Ricky, Bryant, Isabella and Bailee; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Anthony Esposito, Jr.; her husband, Anthony Esposito, Sr.; two sisters, Julia Bohen and Lillian DeNardo; and two brothers, Anthony and Dominick Moscatello, Jr.
Anna was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend. She loved taking care of others and nurturing them. She will be greatly missed and loved forever.
Calling hours will be held at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, Wednesday, October 29 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:50 AM on Thursday, October 30 and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery Mausoleum in Darien. www.cognetta.com
