Anna Lichack

Anna M. Lichack, 94 of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at home. Born on November 10, 1915 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Evanko, Sr. and Rose Muha Evanko.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Ellen Scaccia of New Milford; sons, Elwood J. Lichack of North Haledon, NJ and John Lichack of Clinton; brother in law, Winfield Laychak of Norwalk; sister in law Mary Evanko of Florida; five grandchildren, John O’Neil of New Milford, Matthew Lichack of Clinton, Stacey Hall of New Milford, Paul Lichack of Clinton and Erik Lichack of North Haledon, NJ; five great grandchildren, Alexander and Ann Marie Hall and Benjamin, Timothy and Jacob Lichack.
In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Elwood Lichack; her brother Andrew Evanko; and her sisters, Rose Bohacs, Marie Laychak, Florence Buzel and Frances Russo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Benedict/ Our Lady of Montserrat Church, 1 Benedict Circle, Stamford, CT 06902. Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Anna’s name to St. Benedict/Our Lady of Montserrat Church, 1 Benedict Circle, Stamford, 06902.
