Anne Foley
January 18, 1961 — November 19, 2013
Anne Foley, 52 , a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 19, 2013. She was the daughter of the late J.Guy and Anita Foley. She is survived by her sister Kathleen,her brother Guy, sister-in-law Debbie and her niece Quinn. Anne was employed by W. J. Deutsch Family Wine and Spirits where she enjoyed the compassion and support of working in a family business. Her family is grateful to all of her fellow employees who reached out during her illness.
Anne is also survived by her five dogs Lillie, Leeza, Daniel Patrick, Kelly and Brian, who were so important to her and gave her the greatest joy. All who knew Anne knew of her love of competing with each of her “Kids” in obedience, rally and most of all agility. Her wonderful friends in the agility community were some of her greatest supporters during the past year and their thoughtfulness and kindness will never be forgotten. Due to her illness, Anne’s dream of achieving the goals she set for herself and her dogs was cut short.
At Anne’s request there will be no calling hours and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be greatly appreciated to the Foley Dog Fund , so Anne’s “Kids” can continue to fulfill her wishes in her memory.
