Anne Kachaluba, 94, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born on April 4, 1927 in Clifton Heights, PA to the late Michael and Kathryn Stachniewicz Androsko.

Anne moved from Pennsylvania to Stamford in 1964 as a young bride. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Board of Representatives for the City of Stamford before her retirement. Anne was an active member and volunteer for St. Valdimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral.

Anne is survived by the daughter she never had, Eileen Ferrero, her nieces Monica Androsko of South Carolina and Paula LaBarbera of Georgia, her nephew Joseph Luchetski and great nephews Paul LaBarbera and Matthew Luchetski.

In addition to her parents, Anne is predeceased by her loving husband Paul Kachabula, her son, Paul Michael Kachabula and her siblings: Michael Androsko, John Androsko, Catherine Luchetski, Stephen Androsko, Peter Androsko and Paul Androsko.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Anne will be held at 10AM on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 24 Wenzel Terrace, Stamford, CT 06902. Her interment will immediately follow mass at Queen of Peace Cemetery on Rockrimmon Road in Stamford.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made in Anne’s memory to St. Vladimir’s, 24 Wenzel Terrace, Stamford, CT 06902.
