Anthony L. Colonnello

Anthony Leonard Colonnello 70 years old of Norwalk, CT died at Norwalk Hospital on February 12, 2026. He was born in Baltimore, MD in 1955 to his late parents Anthony & Catherine Colonnello.

He grew up most of his life in Stamford, CT, where he attended Stark Elementary School, Dolan Middle School and Stamford High School, where he met the love of his life Gail Patricia Mattioli Colonnello. They married at St. Maurice Church in 1976.

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Patricia Colonnello, his children Christina Colonnello-Green and her husband Addison S. Green, his son Anthony L Colonnello, Jr. and his girlfriend Michelle E Leydon and her son Joseph C Leydon. He is also survived by his granddaughter Kaylie A Colonnello, his two brothers Michael & Carlo Colonnello, cousins Mary Liguori, Ann Di Roma, Jane Galeoto, brother-in-law Harry Mattioli and wife Sandy and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents Anthony and Catherine Colonnello, Anthony was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Louis Di Roma, and sister-in-law, Nancy Mattioli.

A celebration of life will take place from 12pm to 4pm on March 1, 2026 at the Faternal Order of Eagels, 6 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
