Anthony Michael Lupinacci passed away at his home in Mt. Kisco, NY on Friday, July 4, 2014. He was born in Stamford on January 15, 1949 to the late Anthony B. and Mary Roberta Lupinacci.
Anthony lived in Stamford most of his life and was employed for more than thirty years with IBM until his retirement. He spent most of his time at E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course, where he was a respected member of the Hubbard Heights Men’s Club, treasurer of Springdale Athletic Club, City Amateur, The Shoreline and New England Publinks.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Lupinacci and his loving children, Dana Cackowski and her husband Stanley, Jr. of Trumbull and Jenna Lupinacci of Stratford. He was the proud grandfather of Melanie and Hailey Cackowski. He is also survived by his sister, Phyllis DeCarolis and her husband Arnold and his brother Patrick Lupinacci and his wife Kim.
Tony will be missed by his many friends at Zody’s 19th Hole. His smiling face will never be forgotten by all who loved him. The “Heights” will NEVER be the same.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be private.
