Anthony Montecalvo

Anthony M. Montecalvo, 48, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his home in Stamford. Born November 23, 1960 in Stamford, he is the son of Michael A. and Helen Rocco Montecalvo.
Anthony owned and operated Montecalvo Trucking Company and did trucking runs for 9/11. He was a member of the Electrician Union and was an active parishioner at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church and its Youth Groups.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. and Courtney L. Montecalvo of Stamford; a brother, Michael L. Montecalvo and his wife Judy of Norwalk; and was an Uncle to Sean, Danielle and Jamie Montecalvo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20 at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, at 6:00 PM. Interment will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Please omit flowers. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
