Anthony Zacarolo
March 22, 1934 — February 8, 2018
Anthony J. Zacarolo, 83, a lifelong resident of Cos Cob, CT passed away peacefully at Greenwich Hospital Thursday, February 10, 2018. He was born in Cos Cob on March 22, 1934 to the late Nicholas J. and Mary Altomaro Zacarolo.
Anthony was employed as a Truck Driver at Cecio Brothers. Anthony was a member of the Tony Coy and the Blue Notes band for 50 years.
He is survived by his significant other, Helen Afizkij who has been by his side for 53 years, his loving daughters Toni Maria Gibbons and Mary Elizabeth Zacarolo and his loving son, Nicholas J. Zacarolo, as well as his sister, Emily Marie Capalbo. Anthony is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 AM, with a Prayer Service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's RC Cemetery, Greenwich.
