Antoinette Balzarini

Antoinette Colabella Balzarini, 89, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 13, 2014. She was born on June 20, 1925 in Stamford to the late Michael and Maria Muscillo Colabella.
She was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1943. Antoinette was a great homemaker, enjoyed gardening, was an avid shopper and loved her grandchildren William and Kristen.
Antoinette is survived by her loving son William Balzarini ,Jr. and his wife Jean of Stamford, grandchildren William Balzarini, III of Greenwich and Kristen Frycz and her husband Mark of Stamford. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Angela Futie of Stamford, Patty Balzarini of MA, David Richards, Janice Richards, both of MA and Frank Pepe of Bethany, CT
Besides her parents, Antoinette was predeceased by her husband William Balzarini, Sr., her brothers Rocky and Nicholas Colabella and her sister Rose Donovan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Clement’s RC Church, 535 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is handling the arrangements.
