Antoinette Fusaro

Antoinette Theresa Fusaro, 98, of So. Carolina and a former resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in So. Carolina. She was born in Stamford on March 23, 1923 to the late Charles and Maria Rinaldi Trombetta.
“Ned” lived most of her life in Stamford until relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2010. She was a secretary at General Electric Corporation for 19 years until her retirement in 1986. She was a hostess for the National Council of the Senior Citizens Club and a volunteer at St. Maurice RC Church office for many years. Ned had a passion for warm weather and the beach where she spent many days in the company of friends and in later years with her husband Nick, chatting and enjoying a good book.
She leaves behind her son, Anthony Fusaro and his wife Marcia of Snowmass, CO, a daughter, Barbara Hanrahan and her husband Paul of Pagosa Springs, CO and her daughter in law Janet Rotelli Fusaro of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as her sister Dorothy Annunziata of Stamford.
Besides her parents, Ned was also predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Fusaro, her son, Charles Fusaro, a brother Joseph Trombetta, and four sisters, Theresa “Tess” DeMasi, Rosalie Garfano, Patricia Gerardi and Mary Vita.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday morning, July 8, 2021 from 9:00-11:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 AM at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, Darien.
