Antoinette Galella

Antoinette E. Galella, 91, of Old Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2018, with her husband of seventy years, Michael, at her side. She was born in Stamford on September 17, 1926 to the late Nathan Simone and Amelia Nette Simone.
Antoinette (Chickie) was a loving and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and was known for preparing excellent meals and hosting warm family gatherings. Her lively spirit and warm heart endeared her to everyone she met. She is already and will forever be sorely missed by her family.
Antoinette is survived by her devoted husband, Michael A. Galella, her loving daughters, Diane Hockenbeck and her husband Al, and Renee Lukaniec and her husband Bill. Also surviving are her grandchildren Megan Lukaniec, Erinne Bugge and her husband Jim, and Michael Lukaniec.
All services were held privately. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory was honored to assist the Galella family with arrangements.
