Antoinette Schwartz

Antoinette C. Schwartz, 90, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Greenwich Hospital. Born August 25, 1918 in Port Chester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Patafio Cartisano.
Antoinette was a Stamford resident for forty years. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of various Senior Groups.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlyse Modzeleski of VA; two sons, Gene DiQuinzo of Colorado; and David DiQuinzio of Norwalk (previously of Stamford); four grandchildren, Jason and Jillian Modzeleski; Apsara DiQuinzio and Tali DiQuinzio; and a brother, Anthony Cartisano of Norwalk.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Milton Schwartz; and two brothers, John and Louis Cartisano.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Tuesday, August 4 from 10:00 �" 11:00 AM. A funeral procession will then proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 1 High Street, Rye Brook, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to Alzheimer’s Association, 279 New Britain Road, Suite 5, Kensington, CT 06037.
