Antoinette Viggiano

Antoinette Viggiano, 79, a life long resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Born on October 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marianna Giamba Macri.
Antoinette was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was especially dedicated to the care of her son, Joseph, of special needs, in which she devoted her whole life.
Antoinette is survived by a daughter, Kathi and Thomas Mirto of Stamford; three sons, Paul and Regina Viggiano of Trumbull, Joseph Viggiano of Stamford, and Salvatore and Melisa Viggiano of Stamford; two brothers, Michael and Adeline Macri of Stamford, and Donald and Mellissa Macri of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters Kathryne Colatrella and Marie �"Dolly Veit both of Stamford; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Tuesday, October 21 from 4 8 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Wednesday, October 22, and proceed to the Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
