Arthur Warner
December 14, 1931 — January 31, 2021
Arthur F. Warner, 89, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Cassena Care of Stamford. He was born in Stamford on December 14, 1931 to the late William and Madeline Lionetti Warner.
Arthur was employed as a Security Guard at Pitney Bowes for many years before retiring. He served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War from 1950- 1952.
Arthur is survived by his sister, Kathleen E. Dolan and her husband Mark of Stamford and two nieces, Lisa Hoyt and Krista Mondschein and two nephews, John Queening and Mike Ely.
Besides his parents, Arthur was also predeceased by his sister, Rosemarie Queenning.
A graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. John’s Cemetery, Camp Avenue, Darien. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arthur’s memory to the Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, 238 Jewett Avenue, Bridgeport 06606 or to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902
