Aurora Ellena Rosario

Aurora Ellena Rosario, a longtime resident of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, following a long illness. Aurora was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 19, 1932, to the late Americo Cruz and Juanita Ruiz. She was 93 years old at the time of her passing.
Aurora is survived by her loving sons Joseph Richard Pena and Eric Joel Rosario Cruz.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John Rosario, and her son Cruz Manuel Pena.
Aurora will be remembered as a kind, generous and loving woman, who enjoyed her spending time with her family.
Services for Aurora were held privately.
