Aurora Ventura

Aurora Ventura, 82, of Stamford died on Friday February 10, 2006 at St. Camillus Health Care Center. Born on February 14, 1923, in Stamford, CT., she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Elizabeth Montello Ventura. Professor Giuseppe Ventura taught music at the Connecticut School of Music and at his home.
Aurora was a retired employee of several Stamford companies. She was a devoted member, a lector and sang in the choir at St. Johns the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, for over 40 years.
She is survived by her sister, Mercedes Othouse of Norwalk; her brother Bert Ventura of Stamford; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday February 16, 2006 at 10:30 AM at St. Johns Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT. There will be no calling hours.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in her name to a charity of ones choice.
