Bao Lam Profile Photo
Bao K. Lam, 90 a longtime resident of Norwalk passed away peacefully at his home. Although Dad had lived long, he helped a lot of people escape from China and from Vietnam. He assisted them with finding work in America (Stamford). It only seems like yesterday that Dad helped bring us all to America to achieve the American Dream. His giant heart helped us to overcome this most difficult journey. He fulfilled his purpose and humbly received many "Purple Hearts" from those he helped. He also won his battle with the Communists in two different countries -- his last battle, with Cancer, was a brave fight, and he only finally surrendered peacefully after ten years. Dad died early Sunday, March 1st, 2015, at his Norwalk, Connecticut home. We will all think of Dad often in our grieving as he meant so much to us. He is survived by his loving wife Hung Quan of and their six children. Two sons Thanh Lam, and Tai C. Quan, their four daughters Kim Quan, Lynn Quan, Ping Lam, and Khinh Lam. A grandson Ryan Pham also survives.
Mr. Lam’s family will be holding a private service. Please feel free to leave a memory or condolence here on our website.
The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Quan and Lam family at this difficult time.
