Barbara Frattaroli

Barbara J. Frattaroli, 50, Stamford, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2010. Born December 11, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lane and Joan Harrington Gillespie.
Barbara was a Human Development Specialist and will be remembered as a loving, beautiful, funny, and creative woman who enjoyed scrapbooking and decorating. She was devoted to her family and raising her five children. Barbara was best known for her sense of humor, wit and innovative way of solving any problem. She was a patriotic American who loved the United States and the American flag.
Besides her husband Stephen J. Frattaroli, she is survived by her children, Samantha J. Frattaroli of Stamford, Kathryn J. Frattaroli of New Orleans, Dale B., Ryan S. and Amanda J. Frattaroli all of New Canaan. Also surviving is Barbara’s twin brother, Brian Gillespie of Stamford, Richard Gillespie of Stamford and Barry Gillespie of Suwanee, GA.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902, on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo Parish Church, 24 Roxbury Rd., Stamford at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 4:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.
