Barbara Jean Vozzella
July 2, 1952 — August 31, 2007
Barbara Jean Vozzella, 55, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2007.
Born July 2, 1952 she was the daughter of the late John and Jean Kaminowski Kakaski.
Mrs. Vozzella was employed as a Bookkeeper in the early 1970s at both the the Stamford Advocate and Merrill Lynch. She was a homemaker for over 30 years and was a member of the San Manghese Social Club Womens Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband Antonio Vozzella of Stamford, a daughter Carmela Donnelly and her husband Eric of Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter Christina Vozzella and her husband Juan of Norwalk, and a daughter Antonietta Vozzella of Stamford, and a son Joseph Vozzella of Stamford. Three grandchildren and one sister also survive.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Rd., Stamford, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Entombment will follow at St. Marys Mausoleum, Greenwich.
Friends may call on Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford from 5-7 PM.
