Betty Jane White, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Tandet Center of Stamford. Her husband, William F. White, passed away in 1988.
Born in New Jersey on March 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Twyman) Dusk. She worked in accounts payable for many years at Cadbury Schweppes.
She is survived by six daughters, Donna White of Stamford, Linda Mainey of Woodbridge, VA, Judy White of Cambridge, Mass, Wendy Gayda of Stamford, Karen Casey of Milford and Patti Dinneen of Manchester, Conn; two grandsons, Joseph and James Mainey; three granddaughters, Shawn Dinneen, Meghan and Meredith Casey and two great-grandchildren.
Betty’s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford from 5:00PM �" 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the funeral home at 11:00AM. Interment will be held privately, at the convenience of the family.
