Brian Belmont
November 26, 1958 — June 3, 2012
Brian P. Belmont, 53, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away on June 3rd, 2012 at the Stamford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born on November 26th, 1958 to the late Albert L. and Theresa F. O’Hagan Belmont .
Brian was employed by City Carting as the Recycling Plant Manager and was an avid Yankee fan.
Mr. Belmont is survived by his beloved son Anthony Belmont of Hebron, CT his devoted sister Bonnie Ferro and her husband Mickey, a dedicated brother Albert Belmont and his wife Karen all of Stamford. Also surviving are his four nieces Bonnie, Lynnae, Michelle, and Theresa, and two nephews A.J. and Mike. His aunts, Mary Corrigan of Greenwich,CT and Judy O’Hagan of NC, along with several great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and very close friends survive him. He is also survived by his former wife Margaret (Meg) Belmont.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, on June 7th, 2012 at 9:20 AM and processing to the St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, for a 10:00AM Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated. Interment will immediately follow at the St. John RC Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien, CT friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 6th, 2012 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Brian’s memory to the Masonicare Home Health and Hospice, 74 Cheshire Road P.O. Box 70 Wallingford, CT 06492
