Carol A. Settembrini, 69, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born in Port Chester, NY on February 5, 1948 to Angelo Sciandra and the late Katherine Bologna Sciandra.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Lawrence A. Settembrini and his fiancé Devon of Stamford, Tracy Schock and her husband Richard of Stamford, her loving father, Angelo Sciandra of Port Chester, NY, two sisters, MaryAnne Ciccone and her husband Gary of Greenwich, Joanne Corsaro of Port Chester, NY, as well as her four grandchildren, Isabella, Lenox, RJ and Joseph.
Besides her mother, Carol was predeceased by her husband Lawrence P. Settembrini, Sr., who passed away on January 10, 2018.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Leo’s RC Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
