Carolyn M. Tumminello

Carolyn M. Tumminello, 98, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at her home in Stamford. Born November 23, 1908 in Rome, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Senus.
Carolyn was a member of St. Maurice RC Church and a volunteer at the previously existing St. Josephs Hospital for over twenty years.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary J. Wiltshire of Stamford; two sons, Vincent J. Tumminello, M.D. of Westport; and John G. Tumminello and his wife Kathleen of Boston; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Melissa, Peter, and Michael Tumminello; and three great grandchildren, Zachary, Zoe and Dean Tumminello.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John V. Tumminello; three sisters, and six brothers.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 5:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Thursday, March 22, 2007 and proceed to St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
