Catherine Emond

Catherine Emond,79, a resident of Trumbull and Norwalk, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1933 in Stamford to the late Carmelo and Livia Del Greco Strate.
Catherine was a Medical Secretary at various medical offices in the Norwalk area before her retirement. She was an avid World Traveler and enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City.
Catherine is survived by her loving daughters, Terry Hudock and her husband Bruce of Old Greenwich, CT, Paula Deering and her husband Dan of Easton, CT and her loving grandchildren Sean Hudock , Nicole and Christopher Deering. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 5:30 PM at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 3:00-6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Catherine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38105
