Catherine Lehaney

Catherine “Missy” Lehaney, 75, of Stamford and a former resident of Darien passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Norwalk, CT to the late Dr. William E. Gallagher and Catherine Horn Gallagher.
Missy was a clerical assistant for various companies for many years.
She is survived by her loving children Michelle L. Khessibi and her husband Sabri of Stamford, John W. Lehaney and his wife Debra of Ridgefield, CT and five loving grandchildren Ryan and Farrah Khessibi, Allie Fabrizio, John C., Samantha and Jacqueline Lehaney. Also surviving is her half brother Edward Walsh of PA.
Besides her parents, Missy was predeceased by her half sister Marlyn Walsh.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Maurice RC Church , 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
