Cathleen Mary Giordano

Cathleen “Cathy” Mary Giordano, 48, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Born on June 29, 1977, in Stamford, Cathy was the youngest of four children of Steven Clifford and Patricia Benoit. She grew up in Stamford, attending local schools where she met the love of her life, Joe Giordano. Their love story blossomed into a 25-year marriage filled with laughter, devotion, and cherished memories. Together, they had one son, Joseph Jr., who became the light of their lives.

Cathy will be remembered for her constant smile, kind heart, and the way she made everyone she met feel at ease. She had a special gift for bringing levity to any situation with her wonderful sense of humor and was blessed with lasting friendships that spanned the course of her life.

She is survived by her beloved son, Joseph Giordano, Jr., of Bridgeport; her sisters, Lisa Clifford of Stamford and Lori Corrente of Stuart, Florida; her brother, Steven Clifford of Norwalk; as well as her nieces, nephews, and one great-nephew.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Giordano, Sr.

Cathy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be missed beyond imagination.
