Cecelia Wiggin Matyscyk

Cecelia Wiggin Matyscyk, 78, died on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Smith House Health Care Center in Stamford. Born February 16, 1928 in White Plains, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert T. and Cecelia Tully Wiggin.
Cecelia was a retired Pediatric R.N., having worked for thirty-five years. Her last position was held at Norwalk Hospital. She also had previously worked for St. Josephs Hospital and Stamford Hospital, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by three daughters, Robin C. Arenberg and her husband Thomas of New Haven; Michele Darling and her husband John of Stamford; and Patricia A. Coughlin and her husband Kim Kirchner of Huntington, CT; a son, Marc P. Matyscyk of Bridgeport; a sister, Carol J. Wiggin of MA; a brother, Robert Wiggin of MA; five grandchildren, Melissa Paczek, Jason Arenberg, Peter Darling, Shay Gutierrez, and Wade Arenberg; four great grandchildren, Angelica Gutierrez, Lucas Gutierrez, Austin Paczek, and Riley Arenberg.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Peter P. Matyscyk; and a daughter Nancy E. Peterson.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Benedict Our Lady of Montserrat Church, St. Benedict Circle, Stamford, on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to the Ferguson Library, 1 Public Library Plaza, Stamford, CT 06904.
