Charles M. Bonis, 87, of Trumbull, formerly of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 20, 2014. Charles was born in Stamford on August 30, 1927 to the late Michael and Violet Botticelli Bonis.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Mary R. Moscatello Bonis, of Trumbull, his three daughters; Melissa Shapiro and her husband Allen of Trumbull, Linda Vitti and Sandra Memoli and his two sons; Michael Bonis and Charlie Bonis.
Besides his parents, Charles is predeceased by his daughter Sharon Bonis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT. Interment will be private and there will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Bonis family with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
