Charles J. Koss, 85, a resident of Greenwich passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Greenwich Hospital. He was born on December 14, 1927 in Long Island City, New York .
Charles was employed at the I.B.J Schroeder Bank as a Vice President for many years before his retirement in 1988. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy.
Charles is survived by his loving son Steven L. Koss and his wife Connie of Stamford and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Lucille Papesca Koss in 2008.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
