Cheryl L. Millington Hansen, 50, of New Haven , CT formerly of Stamford ,passed away at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was born in Fall River, MA on January 13, 1962 to the late Manuel and Katherine Lockwood DeReis.
She is survived by her husband Carl Hansen, daughters Brigit Andrewsh and Britney Millington, her sister Carol Pisanelli and her husband Benny and their sons Benny and Matt Pisanelli and her grandson John Millington.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Cathy DeReis and her son John Millington.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 6:30 PM at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cheryl’s memory to St. Luke’s Lifework Womens Shelter, 8 Woodland Place, Stamford, CT 06902
