Christine Ponticello

Christine Ponticello, 49, passed away on Saturday July 22, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born August 12, 1956 in Stamford, CT, she is the daughter of Louise Wynkoop Alipranti and the late Joseph Teufel.
She was a secretary at the Allstate Insurance Company for fifty four years. She was a graduate from Rippowam High School Class of 1974 and worked in Banking and Insurance.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, John S. Ponticello of Stamford; a sister, Barbara and her husband Thomas Iacovacci of Watertown, CT; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she is predeceased by her step-father, Phil Alipranti.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 10:50 AM on Wednesday July 26, 2006 and proceed to St. Marys RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM.
