Christopher Thomas Nardozza,64, a life-long resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. Christopher was born in Stamford on May 4, 1952 to Thomas C. Nardozza and the late Edna D. Fabrizio Nardozza.
Christopher was the light of his parent’s eyes.Throughout his life he was able to develop a strong and defined personality and a clear way to make his desires known. He showed extraordinary resiliency in facing challenges of all kinds.In addition to his parents, he was well cared for and loved by Marie Josee Hogu for many years and also attended the Changing Images program in Norwalk, CT.
Christopher is survived by his devoted father Thomas Nardozza and many loving cousins. Besides his mother, Christopher was predeceased by his brother Mark A.Nardozza.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue,Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 3:30 PM-7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Christopher’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, DAV,VA Medical Center P.O Box 310909, Newington, CT 06131.
