Cindy Cipolla, 61, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born in Stamford on December 5, 1959 to Nancy D. Rich Costanzo and the late Anthony J. Costanzo.
Cindy was born and raised in Stamford graduating from Rippowam High School in 1977. She started her family in 1982, and being a mother to her two children, Robbie and Anna, was her greatest passion. She eventually found herself in another role where she thrived. Her work as a Paraprofessional at Mill Hill Elementary School was so meaningful to her. All those who had the privilege of working with Cindy were undoubtedly touched by her warmth and devotion to her students. Cindy had a fun loving soul. She never turned down a chance to dance, she loved a good scary movie, and if you knew Cindy, you knew her cooking. She cooked with such love, and she got great pleasure from gathering people over a meal. Above all else, Cindy’s ability to create a warm and loving home will stay with those who knew her best. Her warm presence was one that everyone wanted to be around, her laughter was a sound that everyone wanted to hear, and her enjoyment of the little things has taught us all a great deal about what truly matters in this life.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Nancy D. Rich Costanzo, her loving children, Robert A. Cipolla, Jr. and his wife Merrianne and their children, Lilianna and Louis of Trumbull, Anna K. Martin and her husband Seth and their children, Jack and Sadie of Fairfield, her life partner, Alfredo Maldonado and his daughter Grace of Bridgeport, her former husband, Robert Cipolla, Sr., her siblings, Lisa Costanzo, Anthony Costanzo, Jr., Wayne Costanzo and his wife Bonnie, Dawn Forgione and her husband Joe,Stephen Costanzo his wife Mytae and her sisters and brothers in law, Cathy Scanlon and her husband John, Dana Pagliaro-Correa and her husband Robert and Andrea Cipolla.
